Hello there. I tried this game on a video and usually I am not a big fan of these games. But I had quite a bit of fun. Not bad honestly. Only complain I have is, is it normal when you die that well... the game dies? Cause it literally crashed. xD Anyway, if people are curious here is my video.

EXPLOIT! When fighting the crazy guy with one arm, if you leave the room right as you defeat him and come back in, he will keep spitting out money as if he keeps dying. I had an item that spawned ghosts and it kept creating ghosts too.
This game is GREAT! thank you for making such an interesting game. I really want to see more and this game is fun and addicting to play. Anyway My video shows my experience and thoughts on the game if you wish to see it. Again though keep on creating I want to see more games from you peeps.
This game has a FANTASTIC visual aesthetic! But I have a few gripes with the game's design.
First off, Jules's base weapon is a shotgun with a fully random spread meaning that most of the time your bullets will weave right past the enemies unless you stand directly in-front of them. To make matters worse you'll be using this gun throughout most of the game, making combat almost entirely inconsistent. It feels like Jeff is really your only option.
Secondly, the game has a few clarity issues. Hitboxes on tall/airborne enemies can graze you from a distance, small enemies can blend in with coins and particles, and coins blend in with everything. It gives you a handful of moments to say "hey ...I don't think that was my fault".
My last gripe is small but it makes a big difference; there's no pause button. This wouldn't be such a huge issue if the game wasn't a rogue-like that also spawns a monster who follows you around. If you need to pee, you better find the witches room first.
Slight correction: There is a way to pause the game, albeit an unintentional one. If you swap to a different tab, the game will stop running until you swap back.
This game,This game right here I would pay...(wait I'm poor)..I would steal money to play this game. Wait it's coming out on steam *sighs and loads gun* time to go to the bank.
i love this game! ive been playing it for months. my only suggestion is that if you manage to kill chunks, he should continue to be dead on subsequent levels. thanks!!
Hey guys - this is seriously the most fun I've had playing a top-down shooter in a long, long time. I stumbled across this game on NG randomly (hadn't logged onto that site in, like, a decade) and played through its entirety after about a dozen deaths.
The music, levels, items, guns, enemies etc. All incredibly well thought-out, but most importantly, fun.
My big question for you is - how I can help you guys turn this into an epic series?

First thing I'm gonna do if I ever find myself in a mansion is destroy all pottery and absolutely DECIMATE the current inhabitance. Also: Evil Raspberries.
the moths are unfun waiting isn't a fun game mechanic there not hard just tedious the shotgun i feel is too random i shouldn't miss a point blank shot (i wouldn't condense the spread but like i should hit part of my shot) and the weapon upgrades felt weak also pots i dont think they should block shots but i enjoy the game good concept and well execution
This was really cool I like it! I'm absolute trash at these types of games but I had fun and it didn't feel too hard or too easy. Also the art? super freaking pretty 🤎 If anyone wants a sneak peak I made a first look video and I definitely isn't that way because I couldn't finish the game... 😅
The masks are only unfair thing to be honest, you need to be accurate and shoot them before they get too close to you while spinning around you. Otherwise, good game.
This is like binding of isac meets enter the gungeon, it's so much fun!! My only issue is that sometimes i get stuck in corners, other than that no problems. Anyways, I loved it!

This game is very good <3. But... this big butterfly (on 2nd floor) stucked in a wall in air and it was impossible to kill him :c (2 times)
I'm stuck. the only rooms I can explore have a spike wall that won't let me pass.
And then this big guy killed me out of nowhere. Why? :(

nope, the game is made in gamemaker studio 2. a mac port is definitely possible in the future, but it'll take some work
